“Do your best!”
“You don’t have to be the best. It’s enough if you do your best!”
“Make the best of yourself, for that is all there is of you!” (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
Oh yes, I love quotes. Short statements packed with so much wisdom. Yet I keep asking myself whether we actually still question such statements. Or have they long since become mere clichés? Ask the people around you whether they are living their ‘best self’. Or better still, let me ask you: are you living your ‘best self’? What’s your answer? What is your ‘best self’? Is it what you do every day? Is it your job? Your hobby? Your family? Or all of the above? Or is it what others have convinced you of, simply because that’s how it’s done? Are you actually doing the right thing?
What makes you who you are? What do people admire about you? And, more importantly, what do you admire about yourself? What are you proud of? How do you want to be? And if you’re not there yet, what’s stopping you from being yourself?
Do you know your talents? Do you know your strengths? Do you know what issues you’re currently facing in life? It’s written all over your face. Through face reading, I can help you answer these questions.
