It\u2019s enough if you do your best!\u201d<br>\u201cMake the best of yourself, for that is all there is of you!\u201d (Ralph Waldo Emerson)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oh yes, I love quotes. Short statements packed with so much wisdom. Yet I keep asking myself whether we actually still question such statements. Or have they long since become mere clich\u00e9s? Ask the people around you whether they are living their \u2018best self\u2019. Or better still, let me ask you: are you living your \u2018best self\u2019? What\u2019s your answer? What is your \u2018best self\u2019? Is it what you do every day? Is it your job? Your hobby? Your family? Or all of the above? Or is it what others have convinced you of, simply because that\u2019s how it\u2019s done? Are you actually doing the right thing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What makes you who you are? What do people admire about you? And, more importantly, what do you admire about yourself? What are you proud of? How do you want to be? And if you\u2019re not there yet, what\u2019s stopping you from being yourself?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you know your talents? Do you know your strengths? Do you know what issues you\u2019re currently facing in life? It\u2019s written all over your face.
